November[]

Welcome to November in the EPac! As the EPac dies down, it's getting increasingly unlikely that we'll run the table. But anything is a possibility... ~ Steve 🎃 HappyHalloween!💀👻 03:54, November 1, 2018 (UTC)

25E.XAVIER[]

AOI: East of 92E[]

And another one. 0/20. Anonymous 2.0 (talk) 16:53, October 30, 2018 (UTC)

0/30. This might become Xavier, if the two invests in front of it eat up unfavorable conditions in its path. Ryan1000 23:13, October 30, 2018 (UTC)
20/60. This will probably be Xavier instead. ~ KN2731 {talk} 14:01, October 31, 2018 (UTC)
Up to 40/80 but somehow still not invested. This is the one that should become Xavier. ~ Steve 🎃 HappyHalloween!💀👻 03:54, November 1, 2018 (UTC)

94E.INVEST[]

Now invested and up to 60/90. Xavier is about to come, but unfortunately, this could move northward or even north-northeastward towards Mexico. Hopefully impacts aren't too bad. Ryan1000 06:11, November 1, 2018 (UTC)

70/90. Also, if you want to comment on the (presumed) dissipation of 93E, feel free to edit the October archive I made recently, I didn't want to add it in November though as it likely won't form, unlike 94E (though I'll put 94E in October as well if this somehow busts). Ryan1000 22:08, November 1, 2018 (UTC)

80/90, Xavier is coming... Ryan1000 01:53, November 2, 2018 (UTC)

Tropical Depression Twenty-Five-E[]

xavier came lole ¡OIᗡ 'ƎW S∀M ⊥I (talk) 21:10, November 2, 2018 (UTC)

Plus, we could get Yolanda if 92-E forms, which the GFS is forecasting. IbAHAn1829 \I like weather/ \Contributions/ 22:16, November 2, 2018 (UTC)

Tropical Storm Xavier[]

For the first time since 1992 (2006 if you count the South Pacific storm) we have Xavier. Ryan1000 03:21, November 3, 2018 (UTC)

The EPac is hyperactive for real this year. First the ACE record broken, and now we reach the XYZ names? Expected to remain relatively weak, hoping it's not a name-stealer. ~ Steve Talk PageMy Edits📧 05:49, November 3, 2018 (UTC)
45 kts/1000 mbar. Just getting to the 'X' name at all makes me happy. --Dylan (HurricaneMaker99) 19:08, November 3, 2018 (UTC)
I agree, especially because it's the first time since 1992 the EPac got this far into the naming list. Still 45 kts/50 mph as of the latest advisory and expected to intensify a little more. Looks like it isn't quite a name-stealer anymore. ~ Steve Talk PageMy Edits📧 20:53, November 3, 2018 (UTC)

Up to 60 mph, but Xavier has been losing most of his convection to the northeast of his circulation lately, so he'll probably begin weakening from here. Unfortunately, that means Mexico could get some impacts from this despite Xavier remaining offshore. Ryan1000 13:15, November 4, 2018 (UTC)

Weakened to 50/1003, and expected to weaken throughout the rest of its life. Honestly, I'm impressed of the 2018 Pacific hurricane season, having the highest ACE value (the only season in recorded history to have its ACE value over 300), and reaching the X name since 1992. I can't give this season lower than an A.  ~ Roy25   Talk | Contributions   17:46, November 04, 2018 (UTC)

Went back up to 60 mph for a few advisories recently...honestly, I'm surprised Xavier has been this resilient, given his look on satellite imagery right now, he should be down to a minimal TS or depression with his circulation partly exposed. Ryan1000 17:34, November 5, 2018 (UTC)

Post-Tropical Cyclone Xavier[]

NHC has issued its last advisory on Xavier. Say good-bye to the first X named storm since 1992.  ~ Roy25   Talk | Contributions   02:58, November 06, 2018 (UTC)

98C.INVEST[]

New system in the CPac, already invested and 0/10 on the CPHC outlook. ~ Steve Talk PageMy Edits📧 06:14, November 3, 2018 (UTC)

10/10 now. ~ Steve Talk PageMy Edits📧 20:53, November 3, 2018 (UTC)
Down to 0/10. This is probably another one of those AOIs that only last less than a day for the CPAC.  ~ Roy25   Talk | Contributions   17:48, November 04, 2018 (UTC)
This would end up crossing into the WPac and developing there. ~ Steve Talk PageMy Edits📧 06:06, November 9, 2018 (UTC)

93E.INVEST[]

AOI:Well south of Mexico[]

One last hurrah is coming to the EPac, and it's at 30% for 5 days. If this becomes Yolanda it could be one of the latest EPac proper storms on record, and if we get Zeke sometime in December like Winnie '83 then we'll run the table, for the first time since 1992. Ryan1000 22:22, November 24, 2018 (UTC)

10/40, Yolanda is coming... Ryan1000 19:19, November 25, 2018 (UTC)
Well seeing two AOIs at this time of year is very surprising. This is most likely to become Yolanda, but the below AOI has a very small shot at being named as well. Somehow, some way, we can run the table... better late than never. ~ Steve Talk PageMy Edits📧 05:03, November 26, 2018 (UTC)

30/50, and forecast to recurve towards Mexico. It could become Yolanda, and if it does so before it makes landfall in southwestern Mexico by the end of the month, it would be the latest landfalling storm in the EPac on record. Ryan1000 22:27, November 26, 2018 (UTC)

93E.INVEST[]

Invested and up to 50/50. Has a chance to become Yolanda before coming into Mexico, but it's a hit or miss at this point. Ryan1000 22:19, November 27, 2018 (UTC)

Chances down to 30/30. Conditions seem less favorable than before. - PORYGONAL 13:07, November 28, 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, shear is rapidly picking up, and we probably aren't going to see development from this by now. Was at 40/40 a little earlier before going down to 30/30. Ryan1000 16:54, November 28, 2018 (UTC)

Down to 20/20. Not gonna develop for sure now. Ryan1000 03:38, November 29, 2018 (UTC)

10/10, and just about to move ashore. Ryan1000 11:46, November 29, 2018 (UTC)

And now near 0%. At least it tried... Ryan1000 12:31, November 29, 2018 (UTC)

AOI:West of 93E[]

Anotha one...10/20. Though it's unlikely, we could get both Yolanda and Zeke from these two AOI's and run the table...come on EPac. Ryan1000 14:40, November 25, 2018 (UTC)

I personally wanna see that as well... EPac is my favorite basin and I want it to see it do an achievement that I've never seen it do before and only happened one other time...run the table! This one looks unlikely for development, but somehow maybe luck is on the EPac's side. C'mon, EPac! Better late than never! ~ Steve Talk PageMy Edits📧 05:06, November 26, 2018 (UTC)

Down to 10/10. I'm losing confidence in this becoming Zeke... Ryan1000 22:27, November 26, 2018 (UTC)

Long gone. Ryan1000 12:31, November 29, 2018 (UTC)

December[]

In case the EPac produces a post-season surprise...Ryan1000 10:42, December 2, 2018 (UTC)
