Hello everyone!
Just woke up from a 7 hour nap (it's 12am on a Friday night where I should be off to the clubs with friends but I'm too tired to do anything ahaha) after getting no sleep last night due to a group assignment... ah well.... Easter break is finally here though!
Anyway back on topic, I keyed in some official hurricane names designated by the NHC into Randy Olson's Name Age Calculator which predicts the year of birth of someone given their first name alone using a special algorithm based on Social Security records in the US. Some results were as expected and others were a little bit more shocking.

Just for comparison, youngest name on the NHC names list is Jimena (2007), whereas the eldest is Seymour (1935). In the Atlantic lists, the youngest overall name list was 2019 with an average age of an elder millennial whereas the eldest was the 2020 list with the average age of an elder baby boomer.
For comparison, I was born in 1998. I had also thrown in some random names such as Aiden for comparison with the hurricane names. Which ones took you by surprise, and which ones didn't surprise you at all? Who on the lists has a similar birth year as you? (Two names from the EPac 2022 list I included in this study are officially (and in my opinion, wrongly) classed as male by the NHC but in the US there are by far more females with those names (95% are female) than males which is why I classed them as female names).
(N/A means no data available for those names).
